Board Member

Calvin Davis is a dedicated community leader, entrepreneur, and youth sports advocate serving on the Board of the RVA Baseball Foundation, a nonprofit committed to strengthening youth athletics and expanding opportunities for young athletes throughout Hanover County, Virginia. 

Calvin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology with a focus on Sports and Recreation Management from James Madison University, where he developed a strong foundation in athletic program administration and leadership. His passion for youth sports and community engagement has guided his work both on and off the field.

Prior to joining the Foundation’s board, Calvin served as a Director and Vice President of Operations for Atlee Little League, where he helped guide organizational growth and operational strategy, fostering a positive and inclusive environment for players, coaches, and families.

As an entrepreneur, Calvin owns and operates two local businesses: a real estate brokerage specializing in property management and a property maintenance company. Through his businesses, he prioritizes service, integrity, and community impact — values he brings to every aspect of his leadership.

For the past three years, Calvin has also volunteered as a coach with a travel baseball organization, mentoring young athletes and helping them develop both their baseball skills and life skills through sport.

Calvin’s commitment to youth development, community leadership, and the growth of amateur athletics makes him a valuable voice on the RVA Baseball Foundation board as the organization works to enrich youth sports experiences across the region.

Robert Hammock serves as a board member for the organization and brings a lifelong passion for baseball and youth development. A former high school baseball player, Robert has spent the past five years coaching youth baseball, where he focuses on teaching fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

He is deeply committed to creating a positive environment where young athletes can build confidence, character, and a love for the game. Robert is proud to support the organization’s mission and help make a lasting impact in the lives of local youth.
